Anomaly is an art exhibition currently in production by Adam De Ville, the proposed exhibition space is the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art in Western Australia with a proposed live exhibition date of late 2009 / early 2010.

A full preview of the show will be available online for those unable to attend in person, including production notes and drawings. Videos will also be uploaded to keep a diary of the work being produced. The show will incorporate mixed media paintings as well as photographic images for the first time in Adam's exhibitions, these images have been produced from 1960's found slides, never before created on canvas.

"The inspiration for the collection is based on the idea of striving for something when it's too late, missed opportunities for example. I'm including vintage dental photos juxtaposed with my mixed media canvas works, the images show before and after close up shots of various patients who have left there conditions for far too long that extreme surgery is needed to fix it. The images had a profound impact on me when I first saw them at a larger scale and I feel it fits in well with the fragile nature of the mixed media pieces, which include teeth and bones themselves."

All records of the show will be placed here in the coming months.

Artwork titles include:

"Peep Show"

"The bad thing about tearing my eyes out, is that I can still hear you"

"Into the heart of the Sun"

"All for none & none for all"

"There's no ESCape key in Hell"
