ADAM DE VILLE TO SHOW NEW ARTWORKS IN USA AND SYDNEY
In the coming months, Australian artist Adam De Ville will present his latest works as part of Hyaena Gallery’s 'The New Alchemy' show in Los Angeles, GAS Sydney’s 'Colour Burn' group show and Goodspace Gallery's Autumn show in Sydney. In all, the exhibitions will feature fifteen brand new, intricate collage works that reflect Adam’s shift from mixed media painting into experimental artwork. Adam will also have one of his photographic portraits in 'The Oracle's Eye' a group art show at 14BC Gallery in New York, curated by renowned art dealer and collector, Stephen Romano.

Born in London and currently based in Brisbane, Australia, Adam De Ville is a mixed media artist, sculptor, photographer and designer. Specialising in experimental collage works, Adam draws heavily on the Dada art tradition in addressing themes of sexuality, mortality and human fallibility.
Over a career spanning more than 20 years, Adam has exhibited in and sold his fine artwork to collectors across Australia, as well as in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and Canada. He has also developed strong ties within the world of music, designing artworks for multi-platinum selling musicians such as Ministry's Al Jourgensen and having one of his paintings featured on a board by Zero Skateboards. More recently, he produced the photographic artwork for the cover of Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats’ live album, ‘Slaughter on First Avenue’ and had his live photography featured worldwide by Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction) and Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit)
In December 2023, Adam's photographs were presented alongside works by Andres Serrano and William Mortensen.as part of GalleryX Dublin's exhibition, 'The Shamanic Eye' - a collection curated by renowned New York art dealer and collector, Stephen Romano.
Outside of art, Adam has worked as a journalist, interviewing subjects as varied as Genesis P-Orridge (Throbbing Gristle/Psychic TV), Ace Frehley (KISS), Andrew Eldritch (The Sisters Of Mercy), Frank W Ockenfels 3 (Photographer), Michael Alig (Murderer/Artist), Tommy Wiseau (Director/Actor), Peter Murphy (Bauhaus) and Maynard James Keenan (Tool).
